In Love With My Girl :)

I never knew that I could ever have a better feeling then being called "mama" for the first time; last night Jasmine proved me wrong.

I was laying on the couch, she was sitting on my stomach watching Barney (Though we rarely watch tv, when we do the only thing that she absolutely loves is Barney (used to be blues clues) ). I told her that mommy was tired & I was going to sleep (I wasnt really, she just loves it when I pretend to sleep :P), she then stops watching Barney, bends down, gives me a hug, a kiss and says "I Wuvvvvv youuu!". Totally melted my heart. First time she has ever said "I Love You" without someone mentioning it first, totally out of the blue :). She did to me what I do to her every night when I tuck her into bed after reading a book; Hugs, Kisses & I love you. Love my baby girl, she makes everyday worthwhile :)

Long Time No See!

Wow, I have not been on here in forever & since I will be starting work again soon for the summer, I probably wont have the chance to write on here again. I beleive the last time I posted on here I was still living 3 hrs away from home, now we are a bit closer. We moved to another city about a hour away from our family for my schooling. I just finised my first year of University, my final GPA is a 3.4, pretty happy about that :) I got a B in science tech and society (only class thats I HATED), B+ in Psychology & Environmental Problems & A- in English & Sociology. My plan is to major in Psychology & English then move onto the education program, only 4 years to go! :P I have pretty much completely come out of my shyness, like literally every new person that would sit near me I would talk too :P. Im was not afraid that I wouldnt make any friends, Jasmine is my motivation & she is my main reason for bettering myself. But in the process I did make quite a few good friends :) My Bestie being Alex Merson (Curtis was a bit jealous at first, but he got over it :P).

      Speaking of Curtis, he has made a complete life change. He has lost sooo much weight & gained so much muscle. He goes to the gym every night & eats completely different; most of the time better then I :P. It has changed our relationship sooo much! Its the best its ever been, I mean its still a work in progress, but soo much better :). Beyond proud of him! (**He lost 50lbs before the gym & diet, the rest has been since he started his diet & going to the gym). His muscles are super sexy! :P

Jasmine is now 2 & 1/2 Years Old & as busy as ever! She loves the pre-school she goes too & she is talking so good now, you never know what she is going to say or do next :P. Last night she was carrying around a bowl with plastic fruit from her kitchen set in it, singing "Happy Birfffday to YOUUUUU!", lmao she is such a character. She also loves to play dress up, especially with her headbands and sunglasses lol.

She sleeps in her own "big girl bed" now (has since around her 2nd Birthday) & we are currently potty training. We were using stickers as a reward, but since they seemed not to work anymore we switched to gummy bears :). Her most recent favourite thing to do is go swimming; we took her to a friends indoor pool Saturday & on Sunday we went to the YMCA. She was so excited! She kept saying "Have Fun! Go shwim!?". We went with a friend of mine and her little girl Kyleigh the first night, so the second night Jasmine wanted her again; "Baby go shwim!?", she was a bit dissappointed when I said that baby Kyleigh couldnt come, so instead she then went to her room and got one of her dolls, bent down got right in her face and tilted her head sideways (just like she did when she talked to baby Kyleigh lmao) and said "Baby, you go shwim!? Have Fun!!!", haha.

She seems to have no fear of anything. When swimming she kept trying to let go of me meanwhile saying "No mommy! I Do it!", lol no Jasmine you will sink. I really want to get her into swim lessons probably next year. She is becoming so independent (kind of makes me sad, but happy at the same time) and most of the time listens really well (for a toddler :P). She loves to pick out her own outfits (she brought out a shirt to Curtis the other day and proceeded to tell him: "Soooo Cuuute!" bahaha I think she listens to me a bit :P) & tries to get dressed & un-dressed herself. She is super proud of how good she can go up and down steps now, meanwhile Im stressing out thinking she will fall lol. Like in this picture, I was trying to go behind her, her reponse, "NO Mommy! I DO it!" lmao.

This Summer is going to be extremely chaotic, but lots of fun for all. First off on May 19th it will be Curtis & I's 6 Year Anniversary & he has been planning a weekend away for just the two of us (He wont tell me a thing, but has been working extra hard for the money to go, he is spending a fortune!). Meanwhile Jasmine will be staying with her Grammie & Grampie Palin & getting to go Yardsaling (which we found out she absolutely loves!). She was absolutely thrilled when one lady gave her a bag of Books :). Last Weekends stuff from Yardsales + a nice bookshelf for Jasmine's room (she still LOVES reading).

Also July 7th we are going to a Nickelback & Three Days Grace Concert! My two fav bands ever! Ive only ever been to one concert before & that was in middle school & it was to see Nickelback & 3DG (I got to meet Adam Gontier from 3DG ahh lol). Curtis is pretty excited to, he is more of a country guy, but he has never gone to a concert so he is pretty excited + I know Nickelback puts on a awesome show! We wouldnt be able to afford it right now if it wasnt for my dad, he bought us both VIP tickets & already booked our room, love my dad (and his gf Lori!) :D.

Speaking of financial troubles, got like all bad news the the dentist (first time I went in 7+ years), Only have one tiny cavity (so one filling) cavity, but I found out that I must grind my teeth at night, that I should possibly look at getting braces & that I for sure have to get at least 2 of my wisdom teeth pulled, possibly all four, Ugh. Thank goodness we have coverage now, but we still have to pay 20%.

Anyways I better get some cleaning done before I go and get baby girl from Pre-school & take her for a walk around Campus :)
